About Maxes Taxes

Maxine Whitelock is a driven entrepreneur and financial tax professional based out of Baltimore, Maryland. As the CEO and namesake CPA for Maxes Taxes, an all-inclusive accounting, tax preparation, and financial planning and management firm, Maxine is dedicated to helping her clients navigate the confusing and at times frustrating world of personal and corporate accounting.

A graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Maxine is also an honorably discharged United States Navy Veteran. After serving a tour of duty in the First Gulf War where her exemplary service record earned her two Letters of Appreciation, A Letter of Commendation, and a Kuwait Liberation Medal, she came home and embarked on an over twenty year career in accounting and finance.

For two decades Maxine partnered with and was sought out by over eight major players in the global computing infrastructure, Bio-Defense Research and Development, and Educational industries. She has held the titles of Staff and Senior Accountant, Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, and now CEO and lead CPA for her start-up firm, Maxes Taxes.

The wealth of real world experience Maxine gathered over the course of her career is now available to her customers, and it is Maxine’s goal to utilize that experience to help each one of her clients overcome their accounting roadblocks and achieve financial freedom and success.
